"Portugal has become a shopping destination for quality handmade products and here in Porto’s main shopping street A Vida Portuguesa is no exception. The flagship store offers visitors a place where they can buy a whole range of traditional handmade products all under one roof.

Catarina Portas is the owner and founder of A Vida Portuguesa a former 19th century fabric store that now sells carefully selected retro Portuguese brands ranging from food, toiletries and toys to books and hand crafted stationary.

A Vida Portuguesa products are all 100 percent made in Portugal and are exported all over the world helping to keep the labour intensive and high quality manufacturing afloat . The store also has an online retail section and a second shop in Lisbon."
